I was really happy to find a comfy place to sit and a solid meal + cold can of Diet Coke while I'm stranded at SFO Departures waiting for Lufthansa to staff their check in desk. I've got an hour to go. I hit a burger, fries, and Diet Coke for $22 which is pretty reasonable for an airport in the USA. Burger was fresh and hearty. Fries were standard, pretty good! I found a booth in the corner and I'm relieved to have a quieter place to sit and wait.
Had to wait outside TSA until airline counter opened. Found this gem and spent the whole time here until check in. Get the clam chowder bread bowl! Served piping hot and very fresh. Had mixed drinks and local ipa before a club sandwich to wrap things up. Service was good and the area very clean. Close to very clean and lightly used restrooms too!

As my parents and I were waiting for my son's flight to come in, we decide to go to get a little snack. My dad was starving and he got a burger. My mom and I weren't too hungry so we got some tea. They had a giant huge can of Tea and my mom basically bought it because she wanted to see how much it cost!! Lol I think it was six dollars!! I got some organic, hot green tea and nothing you can really do to mess that up. Lol my dad said his burger was Regular and he was happy. It came out so fast because it was made to order. They had a big lobby/seating area with USB and outlets at every single table!! I'm sure a number of people get stuck waiting at SFO or needing to charge their items. Everything was very enjoyable And we got to relax for a good 45 minutes as we waited for my son's flight which was delayed! Lol Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of the food and our drinks. Lol oops!
tldr; quick and surprisingly tasty bites before entering the departure hall It seems odd to review a place which is basically fast food / food court fare, but Potrero Grill has become a staple for me before I fly out of SFO. Service is basic as you'd expect - go up the counter, pay and they'll call out your number when it's ready. What stands out is that everything is freshly grilled - my favorite so far is the fish and chips. It doesn't look particularly nice, but the fish is fresh and the chips decent. It's a great way to fill up in case you don't want to rely too much on the in-flight meal options. This is located in the "Marketplace", on the left side of the international terminal (gate G). The seating is typical food court, but it's pretty clean / functional with a variety of seating options.
My burger was sooooo good! Some of the best airport food I've ever had. The fries were delicious but unfortunately had onions which I can't have. I'll definitely eat here again if I'm in the mood for salmon at the airport. Highly recommend
